Centerless grinding wheels are widely used in grinding carbide cutting tools, bearing parts, automotive components, plungers, cylinders, and engine valves. We offer grinding wheels in both diamond and cubic boron nitride (CBN) materials for different metals. To achieve a mirror finish, we use a finer 2000-mesh diamond/CBN abrasive to meet specific customer needs.
Centerless grinding is a machining process that uses grinding wheel to remove material from a workpiece. Centerless grinding differs from centered grinding operations in that no spindle or fixture is used to locate and secure the workpiece; the workpiece is secured between one grinding wheel and one regulating wheel, and the speed of their rotation relative to each other determines the rate at which material is removed from the workpiece.
The centerless grinding wheels are used for centerless grinding TCT cutting tools, bearing parts, automobile parts, plungers, cylinders and engine valves. Learn more about resin bond diamond grinding wheel.
